This piece was created in September 2024 as part of a still-life study for a class at UMKC. I challenged myself to work with only five colors, a restriction that pushed me to explore the depth and interaction of those hues within the composition. Although I’m not entirely thrilled with the outcome, the process of experimenting with limited colors was a valuable learning experience. It was fun playing around with how color choices could shift the mood and perception of a simple still life, and it ultimately allowed me to push my creative boundaries in new ways.
