“Queen Ginger Lily”, this painting sat unfinished for a couple of years but I eventually finished it in 2024. This 20x20 piece was my first time painting on fluorescent orange. I was inspired by an artist who exclusively works with neon backgrounds. Based on a photo I took at Mitchell Park Horticultural Conservatory in Milwaukee, this piece symbolizes patience, growth, and finally seeing things in a new light.
