This painting is based on a photo I took during a trip to Tennessee in December 2021, while hiking through Cummins Falls State Park. The painting captures a serene moment of me sitting on a rock near the water, surrounded by the beautiful, rugged landscape of the park. There was more water than we were expecting. Created in February 2022, this piece reflects the calmness and personal connection I felt during the hike, as well as the natural beauty of the scene.
