This painting was created as part of a project where I had to use the color wheel and experiment with complementary colors in layers. The composition features a surreal, dream-like road scene with vibrant contrasting colors that evoke both a sense of calm and tension. The use of complementary colors in this piece was intentional, as it allowed me to explore how different colors interact and create depth while also emphasizing the emotional aspect of the journey depicted. The image portrays a personal feeling of being on an endless road to “home,” with the glowing planet representing both a sense of destination and the vastness of the journey ahead.
