"Kent and the End of Things" is a 16 x 20" acrylic painting study of a man named Kent. While working on this piece during the election in November of 2024, I couldn’t help but absorb the intense energy around me—everyone seemed to feel like the world was about to explode. Social media was overwhelming, and it was a constant reminder of how small we really are. These thoughts shaped my process as I painted Kent as a god.
