Rocky Sunrise (version 4)” - This print is a combination of two techniques I love: CMYK-style silk screen printing and linocut block printing. It’s one of four versions I created, and it reflects my frequent travels to Colorado.
The process:
I started by silk-screening the colorful figures, each representing me.
Then, I carved a linoblock—essentially a large stamp—to create the bold, black mountain and sunburst design, layering the two methods together.
This project was an experiment in blending methods that brought me joy.
